Tsarona Talent Show 2025 – Entry Details & Requirements

The Tsarona Talent Show is back and bigger than ever! This quarterly event in Westonaria is your chance to shine, showcase your creativity, and take your talent to the next level. Whether you’re a singer, dancer, poet, comedian, instrumentalist, or digital artist — this is the stage for you.

Below you’ll find all the details you need to enter.

Important Dates

• Entries Open: 1 September 2025
• Entries Close: 30 September 2025
• Auditions: 12 October 2025
• Final Event: 26 October 2025 (Westonaria Community Hall)

Late entries will not be accepted.

Entry Requirements

To participate, contestants must meet the following:

• Age Groups:
  • Junior: 10 – 15 years
  • Youth: 16 – 21 years
  • Open: 22 years and above
• Categories: Singing, Dancing, Poetry/Spoken Word, Comedy, Instrumental, Digital Arts
• Rules:
  • Each act is limited to 5 minutes.
  • Content must be original or performed with permission.
  • No offensive or discriminatory material allowed.
  • Group acts (max 5 members) are allowed, but must register as one entry.
• Dress Code: Family-friendly performance attire.

The event was also graced by the presence of Tebogo Makolwane Chairperson of the West Rand Stakeholders Forum, Gavin Anderson, from the Seriti institute who has been on board from it’s inception, Mzwakhe Mashinini who is the Secretary of SAFA Westrand Regional office, Peter Campbell, W.O Ndumiso, Palesa Pitiki and Tebogo Nong.

The youth of Bekkersdal took to the street to celebrate the pride of Virginity in a fight against our modern day ill’s, sexually transmitted diseases and teenage pregnancy. In the Nguni cultures of South Africa (KZN) and Swaziland thousands of Maidens take reeds and march to donate them to the building of the palace. We celebrate the leaders that encourage our youth to maintain their culture

His foundation, the Ekstein Foundation aims to bring hope the the community that he grew up in. We celebrate your contribution to this Township that needs all the help that it can get, we thank you as your community
